I am a medical student. I often want to share stories of the things I have seen at the hospital or clinic. Many of the stories are too crazy not to tell, some are to sad to forget, and some I don't want to forget.
I see the good and bad aspects of medicine. I have seen the hopes of a patient waiting for a liver transplant is gone crushed when he was kicked off for being to sick. I have seen an alcoholic patient with "friends" get on the list. I have lost my composure and had to walk out of a room because I wanted to laugh, and I have spent extra feeding a patient who was abused by the nursing staff.
I do not write this blog for any reason other than to help me remember what I have seen. This isn't politically motivated or for personal attention.
